Ductless Air Conditioning

For decades split-ductless air conditioning systems have been the quiet solution for cooling and heating problems around the world. The indoor and outdoor units are easily connected by refrigerant lines running through a single small three inch opening in the wall or ceiling. The outdoor unit cycles the refrigerant through the lines to and from the indoor unit, where the air is conditioned and distributed into the indoor space.

Inverter technology for your benefit

These system come with the future of air conditioning technology - Inverter driven compressors. For optimum performance, Inverter technology delivers only the energy needed to satisfy the cooling and heating load, thereby reducing energy consumption. Inverter technology can be compared to a car: The harder you push the pedal the faster you go. The inverter will gradually increase the compressor speed based on the cooling or heating required.

Advantages of inverter technology

  • The system operates at the required capacity to deliver the exact amount of cooling or heating to maintain the desired temperature. Which means you don't have any uncomfortable temperature swings.
  • Quick start up time so desired temperature is reached quicker.
  • Avoids cycling the compressor on and off and runs at slower speeds thereby avoiding frequent costly start ups of the compressor.
  • Reduces energy consumption by one-third compared to normal air conditioners.

Other features of ductless systems

  • Hand held remote control for each indoor wall unit.
  • Intelligent Eye - An infrared sensor which senses human movement in a room. When you are in the room the air conditioner operates normally. If you leave the room for more than 20 minutes, the air conditioner automatically sets back the temperature by 3° to reduce power consumption up to 20% in cooling mode and 30% in heatng mode.
  • For multiple split systems, a priority setting can be applied to a specific area

Many of these units qualify for the Federal Tax Credit, for more information on the tax credits please visit our tax credit page.  For more information please contact us or call us at 616-458-7304.
