Marinus Schaafsma founded Schaafsma Hardware and Heating in 1905. Business growth motivated a move in 1916 from a little building on Plainfield NE to its current location.
Schaafsma Heating & Cooling was located on Ionia Ave NW for 90 years before moving to the new location at 25 N Park St. We are located at the corner of N. Park St. and Mill Creek just east of West River Drive.
Schaafsma services the greater Grand Rapids area in many different fields including residential, light commercial, new house construction, add on replacements and NATE certified technicians.
