Furnace Repair and Air Conditioner Repair in Belmont

Removed existing water heater from property and installed new 40-gallon natural gas short water heater. Connected all plumbing lines using appropriate pipe fittings and nipples, verified gas connections, and tested unit for proper operation and safety compliance.

Completed full system changeout replacing existing 21" furnace and air conditioning unit with new equipment sized to 20" configuration with EZ cabinet and MERV 13 filtration. Replaced existing return drop and installed new floor pan to accommodate reduced system width. Integrated existing Arzel zoning system with reused basement thermostat and new main floor thermostat. Installed 70 feet of new PVC vent piping with flush kit while reusing existing concentric termination, eliminating all purple primer joints for clean professional appearance. Added air quality equipment including RGF REME HALO and iWave-R air purification systems with dedicated GFI outlet installation. Incorporated fresh air makeup system into return trunk at front corner location to improve indoor air quality and ventilation. System tested and operational with all zoning controls functioning properly.

Investigated customer concern regarding rattling ductwork during humidifier operation. Installed new Healthy Climate humidifier on plenum, replacing all drain lines for humidifier, AC, and furnace with new PVC. Verified proper humidifier control settings and secured installation to eliminate noise issue.

Returned to site to replace capacitor on HVAC unit as previously arranged. Successfully removed old capacitor and installed new component with proper terminal connections. Technician coordinated follow-up call while en route to complete the service.

Conducted a pressure test on the gas line system as requested after DTE identified a potential gas leak. Test results showed system pressure holding at approximately 22-23 PSI, which is within acceptable range for residential gas lines.

Resolved electrical confusion with customer regarding AC installation. Identified that the AC unit is hard-wired with the washer/dryer combo and is currently live. Provided customer with Manne Electrical contact information to address electrical concerns before proceeding with AC installation.
