Furnace Repair and Air Conditioner Repair in Belmont

Replaced defective pressure relief valve on water heater. Removed existing valve showing signs of wear and corrosion, installed new temperature and pressure relief valve with proper threading and seal connections. Tested valve operation and verified proper function of safety release mechanism.

Installed REME HALO indoor air quality cell as previously quoted. Retrieved replacement cell from Johnstone supply house and integrated unit into existing HVAC system. Verified proper installation and operational functionality of the air purification device upon completion.

Completed full HVAC system installation including furnace and air conditioning unit with AC condenser relocated to rear of residence. First system installed as horizontal furnace in crawl space at opening with 20' 2" and 20' 3/4" copper line set totaling 35' run, reusing existing 90% efficient venting and converting to LP gas. Second system installed as upflow furnace with central return, reusing existing 90% efficient roof vents, utilizing 10' 2" and 20' 3/4" line set totaling 35' run, and converting to LP gas; noted existing wood boiler coil connection requiring follow-up for control integration.

Completed air conditioning system installation utilizing a 25-foot line set that was flushed prior to connection. Ran new electrical wiring to the outdoor unit by routing through the garage and exiting through the back wall, concealing the wire run under the exterior siding for a clean, professional appearance. Installed appropriate electrical disconnect with 250VAC rated fuse protection and universal start components to ensure proper system operation and code compliance.

Completed full air conditioning system replacement, removing existing Trane unit and installing new condensing unit. Reused existing 25-foot line set routed through finished ceiling to minimize invasive work. Mounted new unit on existing stand attached to house structure. Investigated customer concern regarding rattling ductwork during humidifier operation. Installed new Healthy Climate humidifier on plenum, replacing all drain lines for humidifier, AC, and furnace with new PVC. Verified proper humidifier control settings and secured installation to eliminate noise issue.

Returned to site to replace capacitor on HVAC unit as previously arranged. Successfully removed old capacitor and installed new component with proper terminal connections. Technician coordinated follow-up call while en route to complete the service.

Conducted a pressure test on the gas line system as requested after DTE identified a potential gas leak. Test results showed system pressure holding at approximately 22-23 PSI, which is within acceptable range for residential gas lines.

Resolved electrical confusion with customer regarding AC installation. Identified that the AC unit is hard-wired with the washer/dryer combo and is currently live. Provided customer with Manne Electrical contact information to address electrical concerns before proceeding with AC installation.
